eWallet 6.1, the last major eWallet upgrade, was released in July 2008. The new features include:

For Windows Mobile and Windows PC:

  • Personalize your card fields to work best for you: assign a type to any field in a card. Set multiple hidden fields, phone numbers, live email or web links, choose which fields to use with AutoPass - any type of data you want!
  • Get quick access to your most-used cards: create card shortcuts and build a Favorites folder for the info you want to open fast.
  • Design the background you want for every card: choose a gradient or solid color, add one of our free background images or create your own!
  • Search smarter: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you're looking for.
  • Save time and make custom templates fast: creating and editing your card templates is now easier than ever.
  • Work faster on a non-touchscreen device: Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone) users can now enjoy easier card editing on their devices.

 

For BlackBerry:

  • Get quick access to your most-used cards: create card shortcuts and build a Favorites folder for the info you want to open fast.
  • Customize your cards: choose any gradient color you want for each card's background.
  • Search smarter: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you're looking for.

Free Upgrades

If you already own eWallet 6.0, your upgrade to version 6.1 is free on the same platform(s) for which you made your original purchase. You can download a trial of eWallet 6.1, install it right over eWallet 6.0, and the new version will automatically be unlocked. You will not lose any data.

If you're not sure which version of eWallet you're running, just pick About or About eWallet from the menu. You'll see your current version number.


Upgrade Discounts

You are eligible for an upgrade discount to eWallet 6.1 if:

  1. You already own a version of eWallet earlier than 6.0;
  2. You are a FlexWallet owner who has not yet upgraded to eWallet 6.0 (more info for FlexWallet owners can be found here)

You can also upgrade or add a copy of eWallet 6.1 on any one device for just $10.00. All copies of eWallet 6.1 you run need to be the same version if you're sharing files between devices, so be sure that you upgrade all copies of eWallet or FlexWallet that you're using.

These prices are available only to registered purchasers of eWallet and FlexWallet. You can get the upgrade on any platform for this special price -- it does not have to be the platform you originally bought eWallet or FlexWallet on.

 

eWallet for BlackBerry - Upgrade Information

FlexWallet for BlackBerry owners: For this release only, we are increasing our free upgrade time period. New major releases are usually free to users who bought the title within 90 days of the release. eWallet for BlackBerry will be a free upgrade to all users who bought FlexWallet for BlackBerry within the past 6 months (between June 10, 2008 and December 10, 2008).
